As the Marketing Production Manager at Sussan I was responsible for all design and marketing material across all media channels, stores, and both internal and external communications. Partnering with Sussan’s key agencies, I managed and produced extensive internal graphics and documents ensuring they represented the Sussan brand in a cohesive manner. Coinciding with this, I also managed an inhouse graphic designer to design for social channels, instore POS and various print requests.
Monthly studio photography at Sussan included the collaboration with fashion professionals such as stylists, photographers, makeup artists and models to produce high end product imagery for seasonal look books and brand collateral. My role was pivotal in liaising and overseeing these shoots, carefully planning with key individuals every step of the process to achieve the desired overall look and direction for each garment showcased. This process included the production of product flat lays, model looks and general fashion photography assets that retained brand consistency.
Campaign shoots are essential to the Sussan brand in presenting key brand messaging alongside featured product launches throughout store point-of-sale promotional material, quarterly catalogues, sales and marketing material. My role was involved with all aspects of these campaigns including styling meetings, pre-shoot agendas and briefings, model selection and outfit allocation balancing bulk fashion and high end pieces. This process lead my role into post production responsibilities to manage the campaign photography retouching, print proofing and visual merchandise production all to a strict timeline and high standard for key seasonal deadlines.
Sussan catalogue material is important for customers to get a taste of seasonal product launches. Overlooking the full spectrum of the catalogue process, I had the responsibility of reviewing artwork, print proofs and delivering final signoffs artwork on behalf of the Sussan marketing team.
When Sussan was going through a look and feel development in late 2018/2019, wanting to market themselves to a younger demographic, I received the opportunity to showcase some of my design skills, creating initial eDMs and website homepage layouts for the Sussan website. This also involved communicating with Sussan’s digital agency to deliver our new style and brand direction to be portrayed through our online mediums.
Sussan eDMs were a digital medium important in pushing key product and marketing material. I was critical in assigning feedback on key digital layouts, image crops and copywriting to maintain brand and campaign messaging cohesion.
