Factorie is one of the leading retailers for young trend setters across Australia and the world. The digital spectrum for online retail is growing critically important as we become more reliant on technology communicating direct to consumers.
Contracted as senior graphic designer within the Factorie team, we developed brand direction and cohesion across this spectrum to deliver retail communications that drive product conversions and retain brand awareness. Regular website homepage updates coinciding with strategically planned eDM releases, Instagram stories, website banners, and Facebook advertising communicated key sale creative campaigns targeted at specific demographics, creating hype for customers with exciting value price points. This role was further expanded into working on the Factorie brand look and feel and further marketing collateral.
Above is just a sample of the many Factorie eDMs I created with the recent look and feel developed for the Factorie brand: simple studio photography, product focused and value driven. This coincided with carefully planned key influencer content, product flat lays and bold sale creative.
Instagram stories are one of the key platforms Factorie implements to connect with their target market of under 20s. This took careful consideration in designing content that is message driven, using engaging imagery which creates hype around new product launches and drives sales with value price points.
As Factorie is predominantly an online business, their website homepage is very important in communicating to their customer and converting website traffic to sales. With the pared back approach of the new brand aesthetic, sale marketing creative across the site can be more vibrant and value driven.
While at Factorie I worked with the design team on the new brand look and feel, researching the aesthetic we wanted to portray to present the product with on trend marketing creative. We landed with a simplistic look and feel, product focused creative, with a lot of influencer content, studio imagery and flat lays. Our eDMs, website, Instagram feed and Facebook reflect this move in creative.
